Co-founder vs Co-owner – What is the difference?

Co-founder = means that more than one person founded the company and this person is one of those people. This person will always be one of the people who started the company

Owner = person who currently owns the company.
– The founders could have sold the business to someone else. If that is the case, this person would not be a founder.
